Sukkur IBA University and Government of Sindh Launch SINDH TALENT HUNT PROGRAM (STHP) 2026
Sukkur IBA University, in partnership with the Government of Sindh, has proudly announced the SINDH TALENT HUNT PROGRAM (STHP) 2026. This initiative aims to identify and nurture talented students across the Sindh Province.
Foundation Semester for Top Talent
The program will initially select the top 200 students for a Foundation Semester. This intensive period will focus on critical subjects: English, Mathematics, and Information & Communication Technologies (ICT). According to SindhNews.com reports, this preparatory phase is designed to equip students with essential academic skills.
STHP Scholarship for Academic Excellence
Following the Foundation Semester, the top 100 students, achieving a minimum GPA of 2.2, will receive the STHP Scholarship. These scholarships are for degree programs at Sukkur IBA University Main Campus, including BBA, BS Accounting and Finance, Economics, BE Electrical Engineering, B.Ed, BS Media and Communication, Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and various Computer Science and Engineering specializations. eligibility requires intermediate qualifications from 2023, 2024, or 2025 and Sindh domicile.
Financial Support and Important Dates
Selected students for the foundation semester will benefit from a 100% tuition fee waiver, Rs. 5,000 for living costs, and a Rs. 4,000 monthly stipend. The regular semester scholars receive a 100% fee waiver for four years, plus a Rs. 5,000 monthly stipend. The application deadline is January 9, 2026, with an admission test on January 18, 2026. Classes commence in February 2026.
