Government of Sindh Empowers Educators with School Specific Budget Training
The School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD) of Sindh is initiating a comprehensive training program for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) on “School Specific Budget and Roles and Functions.” This initiative aims to equip educational leadership with essential financial management skills.
DDOs Training on School Specific Budget
This training, facilitated in collaboration with PIPFA, has already seen four Master Trainers from each Taluka receive in-depth instruction. These trainers are now tasked with disseminating this crucial knowledge to Principals and Head Masters across all schools within their respective Talukas. SindhNews.com reports that the department is committed to ensuring transparency and efficiency in school finances.
The SE&LD has made resources readily available to support this endeavor. A series of training lecture videos can be accessed on the department’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/@Seld.official. Additionally, the DDO Training Manual is provided via a dedicated Google Drive link.
Directors, District Education Officers (DEOs), and Taluka Education Officers (TEOs) are instructed to organize training sessions. These sessions, slated to occur between December 22nd and 24th, 2025, will involve Principals and Head Masters watching the video lectures under the supervision of the Master Trainers. Suitable venues, such as school halls or auditoriums, are recommended.
Compliance reports detailing trained personnel are mandatory and must be submitted by December 26th, 2025. This underscores the department’s focus on accountability.

Impact of DDOs Training
The successful execution of this training is expected to lead to improved financial governance at the school level, ultimately benefiting student resources and educational outcomes across Sindh.
