Quaid-i-Azam’s 149th Birth Anniversary Marked with Reverence Across Sindh, Father of the Nation

The 149th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was commemorated with widespread traditional zeal and fervour throughout Sindh on Thursday. Provincial and municipal governments, political parties, and civil society groups joined in paying tribute to the leader.

Commemorating Quaid-i-Azam’s Legacy

A significant event marking the birth anniversary was the impressive change of guard ceremony at Mazar-i-Quaid. A distinguished contingent from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul assumed ceremonial guard duties, a testament to military tradition and respect. Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhry, Commandant PMA Kakul, was the chief guest.

Mayor Wahab laid a wreath on behalf of Karachi’s citizens. Representatives from various political parties, including Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, also visited the Mazar-i-Quaid. PTI leaders celebrated by cutting a cake, acknowledging the Quaid’s unparalleled services.
