Sindh Wheat Program: Districtwise Payments & Support Guide 2025

Sindh Wheat Growers Support Program Payments Districtwise List, The Government of Sindh has initiated payments under the Sindh Wheat Growers Support Programme 2025, providing crucial financial assistance to farmers across the province ahead of the 2025–26 wheat cultivation season. The initiative aims to strengthen wheat production, ensure timely fertilizer availability, and reduce the burden of input costs for small and medium-scale farmers.

District-Wise Schedule for the Government’s Wheat Growers Support Programme (Hari Card)

The Sindh government has launched the Wheat Growers Support Programme under the Benazir Hari Card system to provide direct relief to small farmers during the 2025-26 wheat season. The initiative aims to support growers owning between one and twenty-five acres of land, ensuring that key inputs—particularly fertiliser and financial assistance—reach them in time for sowing and early crop development.

The government has divided the programme into two major phases to match the wheat-sowing calendar of each district. Since upper Sindh districts sow earlier and lower Sindh districts sow later, the delivery schedule has been aligned with the natural agricultural cycle of each region.

Programme Schedule

1. Registration Phase

Registration for eligible farmers was completed in early November. Special help-desks were opened in all districts, and agriculture offices operated extended hours to accommodate growers before the deadline.

2. First Phase — DAP Fertiliser Distribution

The first phase of assistance consists of providing DAP fertiliser for sowing.

  • Distribution is scheduled for late October through November, matching the period when farmers across the province prepare their land and begin sowing wheat.
  • Upper Sindh districts receive DAP earlier due to their earlier sowing season.
  • Lower Sindh districts receive DAP slightly later as their sowing begins in mid- to late-November.

3. Second Phase — Urea Fertiliser Distribution

The second phase begins from late January onward.

  • Urea is given only after verification that wheat has been sown on the registered land.
  • Each approved farmer receives the allotted quantity based on acreage.
  • This timing supports the crop during the vegetative growth stage, when nutrient demand is highest.

4. Financial / Input Subsidy

Alongside fertiliser assistance, the programme includes a per-acre financial subsidy aimed at reducing the cost of production. Disbursement occurs alongside DAP or shortly afterward depending on district-level logistics.
